Allistair MacLean – Where eagles dare

Sincerely I’m not quite a spy/war books fan, because I’m not able to understand them: my imagination cannot decode the message, I lose the leading action, everything is happening to fast for me, therefore it is impossible  to tell you the happy-ending story of these guys that fight a hole German army. Anyway, it is very easy to read these kind of books, and you need a minimum “wikipedia requirement” so that you know had bad the nazi are, and how good are the rest. Of course, if you are just like me, unable to read war books, then take a place in the armchair and watch the movie: Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood are fantastic, and the hole story has an “Dirty dozen” thrill within. Enjoy!
